Pennsylvania's PITA Frost

The Fear is Real, but more so a PITA

While it might not be so much a "fear" of frost, we PA gardeners know it is definitely a PITA for us. We hit May and Mother's Day and feel we're in the clear, only to have one last late May frost come down and disrupt the garden high we're on this time of year.

So many plants we encounter look alike and can be mistaken for one another. If you live in PA, one of those common mistakes is confusing hemlock with Queen Anne's lace.

Be aware though - confusing the two could be dangerous and even deadly.
